Sports Fest 2013 - 104.5 The Zone

Here are some of the Pictures I was able to shoot while attending Sports Fest in Nashville, primarily presented by 104.5 The Zone, at the Nashville Convention Center.
The event took place on Saturday February 23, 2013.
It had everything from different booths, local mascots, businesses, wrestling matches, and guest Speakers that included Kansas City Chiefs Safety Eric Berry, Sportscaster Michelle Beadle from the NBC Sports Network, former Alabama Head Football Coach Gene Stallings, New Tennessee Head Football Coach Butch Jones, New Western Kentucky Head Football Coach Bobby Petrino, Tennessee Titans Tight End Craig Stevens, and a surprise appearance by Current Vanderbilt Head Football Coach James Franklin.
     Here! We! Go!

This was a very fun day, and the event successfully gave fans a chance to meet and interact these sports figures from several different programs.
Overall, it's hard to argue the success of this Sports Fest as opposed to the one that took place last June. Both were awesome and I actually had the privilege of working last year's event while interning at 104.5 The Zone.
My final opinion is that I feel that having a Sports Fest at the beginning of the Year is a stronger move than to have one half way through the year.
It just seems like a time where more people are available for participation in the event, and you can recap the past year and preview the upcoming one.
My grade is definitely an A. The Zone and other Sponsorships have hit another Home Run, this time before Baseball has officially started!
